Arnold’s turnaround
October 27, 2006 by pcdave79A year after embarrassing defeat, Schwarzenegger cruising to re-election.
WASHINGTON – If there’s one storyline that nearly all Americans can appreciate, it’s the comeback.
We see it in our films (“The Natural,” “Star Wars”), our sports (the 1992-93 Buffalo Bills, the 2004 Red Sox), our history (the Texan victory after the Alamo, the Pacific theater in World War II), and — especially — our politics.
Take Harry Truman’s come-from-behind victory over Thomas E. Dewey in the 1948 presidential election. Or Richard Nixon’s two presidential wins in 1968 and 1972, after losing his 1960 bid and his race for governor two years later. Or the political triumphs by the ultimate Comeback Kid — Bill Clinton — after Gennifer Flowers, his administration’s health-care debacle, and his impeachment.

Winds in the area were erratic, said the department’s Capt. Don Camp. “Winds are sustained at 18 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 out of the east, which is … making a major push on the fire to the southwest,” he said.
Meanwhile, officials sought arsonists believed to have set the fire.

Capcom gets their hands dirty with porn site
October 27, 2006 by pcdave79On the back of the game box, Capcom listed the official site as http://www.killer7.com/ (NOT WORK-SAFE) and that is definitely not a site that host Killer 7 screenshots. Instead, it’s a hardcore porn site that is enttiled “Pics of Interracial G*ngb*ng Movies Fu*king Hard” and you can pretty much guess that Sesame Street wouldn’t be too happy with this one.It was obviously a mistake and didn’t mean to have a porn site for the game, as the real site is http://www.killer-7.com/ Personally, I like the naughty one better because that game was awful…but I also like that kind of stuff so… hehehe ^_^.
